INDIAN BRAIN ATLAS

Population dependent variations of human brain demand a population specific brain template for many Neuroimage analysis tasks. This motivated us towards the construction of an Indian brain atlas, IBA100. This atlas has 7 structure pair labels developed using 100 young (21-30yrs) subjects. We observe that there is a significant difference both at a global and structural level observed between the population specific templates.
