About MedImage-2016

Medical images form the basis of diagnostics, therapy planning and discovery in biomedical research. Processing of such images/videos poses a range of challenges due to the progress in this field with development of a wide range of modalities. The critical nature of the applications demand robust solutions to several problems.

The 4th edition of this day-long workshop will be a forum where experts will be disseminating recent advances and developments in the field and researchers will present new ideas and solutions for relevant problems.

Submissions can include unpublished work reporting original contributions and new results. Such manuscripts must not exceed 8 pages and follow the same format as prescribed for ICVGIP.

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

  • Medical Image Computing
  • Computer aided diagnosis
  • Medical Informatics
  • Medical Visualization
  • Clinical applications

The papers submitted to the workshop will be published by Springer (LNCS).
