Avijit Dasgupta attended CVPR 2024 in Seattle, marking his first time at the prestigious CVPR conference but not his first international conference. The conference, attended by around 12,000 people, was a great opportunity for him to meet prominent researchers and learn the latest developments in computer vision, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), augmented, virtual and mixed reality (AR/VR/MR), deep learning, and related areas from academic, applied, and business R&D perspectives.

The physical mode of the 8th Summer School on AI was held from July 1- July 7, 2024 at the Center for Visual Information Technology (CVIT), at IIIT Hyderabad.
